This group looks at the
negative thoughts and attitudes that you carry about yourself as a man or
as a woman, which restrict your ability to give and receive sexual pleasure
and intimacy.
Both men and women are invited to develop empathy for each other, learning
to recognize the pain that is created by defining one another in fixed roles.
The group teaches to develop a compassionate understanding for oneself and
for one's partner.
It helps you to respond with sensitivity and generosity to each other's wants
and needs.
You learn to develop respect for each other's longings and boundaries.
In this way, sex and intimacy become a shared pleasure, and wellbeing and
happiness are equally available as well for yourself as for your partner
